Fixed issues
Fixed issues in 2203 LTSR Cumulative Update 6 (CU6)
The following issues have been fixed since Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2203 LTSR CU5:
Citrix Director
- When you use a multi-session or a single-session desktop VDA in Multi Forest Site, the User-centric search feature doesn’t work. [CVADHELP-23174]
- In Director 2203, users cannot edit and save default Smart Alert policies due to an invalid scope target. The policy works correctly but fails validation if the target ID is null or invalid, resulting in an error message. [CVADHELP-25320]
- You may encounter an issue where you are unable to access Custom Reports [CVADHELP-25460]
- You may be unable to see the list of machines in Director Filters > Machines due to missing Enum values. [CVADHELP-26656]
Citrix Policy
- You might experience high memory utilization from the CseEngine.exe process, which can cause machine registration issues. [CVADHELP-25488]
Citrix Provisioning
Citrix Provisioning 2203 CU6 documentation provides specific information about the updates in this release.
Citrix Studio
- The Studio console might freeze when using the Studio as a published application or use it in a published VDA under the ICA session. [CVADHELP-24990]
- When both the Name and Published Name of a Broker Application are changed, the “Delivered As” field may be blank in App-V application details. [CVADHELP-25168]
Delivery Controller
- You may encounter an issue where VUA validation fails during VDA upgrades due to the renewed certificate using the organization name or the required names. [CVADHELP-25210]
- You may encounter frequent deadlocks in the Monitoring SQL database and observe high CPU and memory usage for the Citrix monitor service. [CVADHELP-26334]
- You may encounter an intermittent issue with Machine Creation Services (MCS) in Citrix 2203 CU2, where only half of the machines you attempt to add to an existing catalog are successful. Although the machines appear in Active Directory, only the successful ones are displayed in Studio, and the failed machines do not show up in your Nutanix hypervisor until they are manually imported from Active Directory. [CVADHELP-25166]
- You may experience high CPU usage on a large MonitorDB holding data for several months. Adding an index can reduce CPU usage by approximately 10-15% [CVADHELP-26395]
Graphics
- You might encounter intermittent screen blackouts lasting approximately 10 seconds while working, during which the Citrix software graphics process (Ctxgfx.exe) resets. The twencode thread experiences an access violation exception, which causes ctxExceptionHandler to record minidumps and cause this problem. ctxExceptionHandler is set up to generate complete dumps for examination. [CVADHELP-24877]
- In on-premises Director for CVAD 2203 LTSR CU2, you may see that the Brokering and “VM Start” metrics always display as N/A. This occurs when VDAs are configured to start only when you initiate a launch. You might encounter this issue while reviewing logon performance data. [CVADHELP-24948]

This issue also affects non-MCS VDAs and occurs when VDAs are disconnected via RDP or left idle in an RDP session. [CVADHELP-20327]

This only happens when the app is minimized; it works fine when you’re in a full desktop session. [CVADHELP-26216]
Clipboard
- When you use VDA 2203 LTSR Cu4, and when you copy and paste contents in the WebP format,
WfShell
stops working. [CVADHELP-25356] - You may experience issues with session clipboard redirection failing for large images and Excel charts in the VDA, preventing you from copying and pasting these items to the client side. [CVADHELP-25988]
