Windows VDA 2507 or later
Citrix HDX Graphics Superresolution upscaling is independent of the presence of a server-side GPU and will work either with or without a server-side GPU.
No additional requirements are needed on the VDA.

Client requirements

Windows Citrix Workspace App 2507 GA or later

In this Preview, the following client-side Intel GPUs are supported:

Intel Arc A-Series Graphics
Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics
Intel 10th (Ice Lake generation and newer)

Citrix recommends using the latest available Intel GPU drivers. Intel driver updates can be obtained directly from the official Intel driver download page.

Policies

HDX Graphics Superresolution upscaling is designed for use with our default Selective Encoding.

Make sure that the following policies are set:

Use video codec for compression: set to use when preferred or for actively changing regions.

For the Preview, HDX Graphics superresolution technology is compatible with H.264 video encoding.

When enabled, H.264 video encoding will be enforced, even when a H.265 or AV1 compatible server-side GPU is available.

No additional policies need to be set.
