What’s new
-
Enhanced dual SIM and eSIM support for Android Enterprise devices:
XenMobile Server now provides comprehensive dual SIM support for Android Enterprise devices to ensure feature parity with iOS. This enhancement enables administrators to view all installed SIM cards and eSIMs in device properties, including configurations with two physical SIM cards, one SIM card plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. This update addresses the growing adoption of dual SIM Android Enterprise devices and provides customers with complete visibility into their mobile device connectivity options, matching the eSIM capabilities previously delivered for iOS devices. This feature is supported only on:
- Secure Hub version 25.7.0 or later, and
- Android 13 or later
XenMobile Server has a new property
ae.esim.support, which enables the XenMobile Server to get the eSIM information from the Android Enterprise devices and displays the eSIM related device properties on the user interface. The default value of this property is True. For more information, see Server properties. -
License Activation Service:
XenMobile Server now supports the License Activation Service (LAS) licensing mechanism. LAS is a new cloud-based licensing solution that offers a modern alternative to traditional file-based licensing across the suite of Citrix products. Register your Citrix License Server with Citrix Cloud to use the licenses and entitlements that your License Activation Service holds. For more information, see License Activation Service.
Important:
We are transitioning to an industry-standard, cloud-based licensing architecture for the Citrix platform. This move automates entitlement and activation, bringing key customer benefits:
- No license file management: Eliminates the need to download, allocate, or manage license files, simplifying your administrative tasks.
- Automated entitlement updates: Entitlements are updated automatically in the background upon contract renewal ensuring uninterrupted service.
- Increased resiliency: The License Server is no longer a single point of failure for user sessions, enhancing the stability of your environment.
We encourage you to use the time leading up to the switch to plan and execute your transition to adopt the new licensing model by April 15, 2026, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way. For more information, see Citrix Modern Licensing Annoucement.

The Secure Hub Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate for XenMobile Server 10.16 expires on January 4, 2026. This update automatically renews the Secure Hub APNs certificate to a new certificate, valid until November 9, 2026.
