The following issues have been fixed since Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2203 LTSR CU1:

Citrix Policy

  • An incorrect DNS query might be generated when the CseEngine.exe is fetching a Group Policy Object (GPO). [CVADHELP-20361]

Citrix Studio

  • Attempts to create a new Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops site with the DBCreator, Securityadmin, and Public permissions from the Citrix Studio console might fail. [CVADHELP-20594]

  • After you navigate to Delivery Group > Power management, attempting to update the peak times bar might fail. [CVADHELP-21194]

Delivery Controller

  • Citrix Studio might display Security Identifiers (SID) of machines instead of account names if some domain controllers are shut down. [CVADHELP-19312]

Graphics

  • Some applications are limited to a maximum frame rate of 22 frames per second (FPS) instead of the default maximum of 30 FPS. [HDX-42319]

VDA for single-session OS

Session/Connection

  • Two VDAs instead of one might be assigned to a single user. [CVADHELP-19700]

  • When you exit a session, the server might become unresponsive. The issue occurs because of the infinite loop present in icausbb.sys. [CVADHELP-19814]

  • When you launch a Citrix published application, seamless mode might fail to set in, resulting in the published app having a black background. [CVADHELP-19981]

  • Attempts to reconfigure multi-session OS VDA running Citrix Workspace app for Windows version 2203 might fail. [CVADHELP-20027]

  • When you launch Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps as VM hosted apps, Application not running application status appears. [CVADHELP-20322]

  • With the Virtualization Based Security feature turned on, when you access a workstation using Remote PC Access through a user device and then disconnect, a black screen might appear when you physically reach the workstation and log on to the system. [CVADHELP-20342]

  • Upon reconnecting to a published application, two published applications might be launched and the Delivery Controller might show the application state as Application not running. [CVADHELP-20476]

  • During session reconnection, the battery status indicator might disappear if the power cord is plugged in. [CVADHELP-20768]

  • The browser content redirection extension might fail to work with the latest version of Chrome causing the Optimized Microsoft Teams call to disconnect. [CVADHELP-21136]

  • With the latest version of Chrome, the browser content redirection extension might fail and cause the Optimized Microsoft Teams call to disconnect. [CVADHELP-21336]

System Exceptions

  • The ctxgfx process can cause high CPU usage on Windows VDA version 2112 when using Ubuntu 18 clients with dual monitors. [CVADHELP-19937]

  • Citrix Audio Redirection Service might fail to work with VDA version 2203. [CVADHELP-20164]

  • The wfshell.exe or PicaVcHost.exe processes might exit unexpectedly with an exception code, 0xc0000374. The issue occurs when you set a long string in the Allowed URLs to be redirected to Client policy setting. [CVADHELP-20269]

  • The wfshell.exe process might exit unexpectedly due to the faulting CtxUiMon.dll module. [CVADHELP-20312]

  • If Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) is installed and Citrix Hook is enabled, Microsoft 365 applications might exit unexpectedly. [CVADHELP-20642]

User Experience

  • While installing VDA version 2203 on a Windows 11 machine, right-click might not work on the Start menu. [CVADHELP-20806]

VDA for multi-session OS

Session/Connection

  • When you exit a session, the server might become unresponsive. The issue occurs because of the infinite loop present in icausbb.sys. [CVADHELP-19814]

  • Attempts to reconfigure multi-session OS VDA running Citrix Workspace app for Windows version 2203 might fail. [CVADHELP-20027]

  • The Applies to the following VDA versions policy listed under Client printer names shows only Virtual Delivery Agent 5.6 Feature Pack 1 as an available version. [CVADHELP-20081]

  • With this fix, new user settings are available for configuring sessions, idle, and disconnected timers for multi-session VDAs. For more information, see the Session limits policy settings documentation. [CVADHELP-20200]

  • The screen saver might appear in a session reconnected from a seamless published app through a VDA that has the screen saver enabled. [CVADHELP-20431]

  • VDAs might become unresponsive when the RPM is holding up a logoff process by not releasing a lock as expected. [CVADHELP-20892]

System Exceptions

  • VDAs might experience a fatal exception on tdica.sys and display a blue screen with a bug check code, 0x0000007E. [CVADHELP-19862]

  • VDAs might experience a fatal exception on picavc.sys or picadm.sys and display a blue screen. [CVADHELP-19897]

  • The ctxgfx process can cause high CPU usage on Windows VDA version 2112 when using Ubuntu 18 clients with dual monitors. [CVADHELP-19937]

  • The wfshell.exe process might exit unexpectedly when the virtual channel disconnects. [CVADHELP-20217]

  • The wfshell.exe or PicaVcHost.exe processes might exit unexpectedly with an exception code, 0xc0000374. The issue occurs when you set a long string in the Allowed URLs to be redirected to Client policy setting. [CVADHELP-20269]

  • When you attempt to connect to a VDA running version 2203 on a multi-session OS, the logonui.exe process might become unresponsive with a black screen or get terminated. However, event logs might appear. [CVADHELP-20338]

  • Terminal Services running on a multi-session OS VDA might unregister and exit intermittently. [CVADHELP-20671]
