The following issues have been fixed since Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops™ 7 2402 LTSR CU3 :

General

  • When you use Windows Media redirection in a double-hop scenario, Windows Media Player might hang or show high CPU usage on the first hop. [CVADHELP-28415]
  • Browser Content Redirection might fail when you use the Browser Content Redirection extension from the Microsoft Edge Web Store. [CVADHELP-29622]
  • Citrix Audio Redirection might stop working intermittently and require a service restart. [CVADHELP-30160]

Citrix Director

  • When you replay Session Recording from Director, some links might open over HTTP instead of HTTPS. [CVADHELP-28727]
  • You might experience incorrect host status updates in the Infrastructure section of the Director dashboard when the host count exceeds 10. [CVADHELP-30612]
  • After you apply recent Microsoft OS security patches, you might not be able to use Citrix shadowing. [CVADHELP-31111]

Citrix Policy

  • When Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs) use Microsoft Entra ID user accounts, policies may not apply, which can lead to inconsistent policy behavior across sessions. [CVADHELP-30643]
  • Citrix group policies might not apply to your Windows 365 VDA machines. [CVADHELP-27655]

Citrix Studio

  • When you create a PVS catalog, the task might fail while listing vDisks, indicating an exceeded message size quota.[CVADHELP-28130]
  • When you import Active Directory user or machine mappings from a CSV file, the import might fail with a “Usernames not found” error. [CVADHELP-30186]
  • You might not be able to sign in to Web Studio as an administrator when an FQDN contains regex-interpretable characters. [CVADHELP-28119]
  • You might not be able to perform actions in Web Studio, such as managing tags, when your Desktop Delivery Controller has SSL binding configured to a specific IP address and the Citrix Orchestration service incorrectly uses the localhost IP address. [CVADHELP-31097]

Delivery Controller

  • When you add an existing Active Directory account to the identity pool, the required computer account might not be created, which could affect WebSocket connections. [CVADHELP-29691]
  • When the Broker Service connects to the FMA Trust Service, it might gradually use more memory. [BRK-22441/CVADHELP-28307]
  • When you sign in, the Citrix App-V launcher may show errors, especially on non-English systems. [CVADHELP-27965]
  • When you assign newer app packages to a delivery group in Web Studio, app discovery might fail, so the apps don’t appear in Web Studio and can’t be assigned to delivery groups. [CVADHELP-30250]
  • You might experience a TokenNotFoundException that prevents an application from launching when your device starts the application launch but does not support session sharing. [CVADHELP-31578]

Machine Creation Service

  • On Windows 11 VMs created with Machine Creation Services (MCS), a background agent service might stop, which could affect system stability. [CVADHELP-28203]
  • When creating a machine catalog that contains only one VDA, MCS always places the VDA on the first storage location. [CVADHELP-29020]
  • When you create or update a catalog for Active Directory-joined machines in Web Studio with an identity pool domain that differs from the admin domain, machine creation might fail. [CVADHELP-29374]

Printing

  • Printing large files to pdf might fail [CVADHELP-28116]
  • You might experience swapped icon colors in PDFs with Enhanced Metafile (EMF) printing. [CVADHELP-30837]

VDA for single-session OS

Session/Connection

  • You might experience clipboard redirection stopping intermittently between your session and client. [CVADHELP-25945]
  • You might experience intermittent issues when starting a new session where the machines might hang at the welcome screen.[CVADHELP-28986]
  • When you use IPv6, Studio might show a local loopback address instead of the expected network address in the “Connected through” field. [CVADHELP-29084]
  • After you reconnect with multiple monitors, Windows 11 app windows might become hidden. [CVADHELP-30815]
  • After you reconnect to a session, your saved virtual display layout might not be applied. [CVADHELP-30818]
  • You might hear a beep sound when you paste a file name copied from your client. [CVADHELP-28053]
  • When you launch an application from Citrix StoreFront, the launch might fail and display the following error message: “Cannot Start App: {app name}”. [CVADHELP-30614]
  • When you disconnect and reconnect to your Citrix session on a Windows 11 multisession VDA, the time zone might reset regardless of your time zone settings. [CVADHELP-28781]

System Exceptions

  • You might experience issues with the ICA session performance counter instance as it might be missing after you reconnect. [CVADHELP-24736]
  • You might see maximized windows freeze or turn black when you move them across monitors. [CVADHELP-27218]
  • You might find published applications freeze or not respond while you work or hover. [CVADHELP-27442]
  • You might see a blue screen after restart on Citrix Provisioning–provisioned desktops due to a USB driver error. [CVADHELP-27597]
  • You might experience a sign-in screen crash that might make your desktop unresponsive. [CVADHELP-27630]
  • You might find Browser Content Redirection for published Chrome apps does not redirect URLs without extension. [CVADHELP-28396]
  • FIDO2 does not work for edgewebview2 by default. [CVADHELP-29040]
  • You might find that installing the VDA changes a Windows setting causing Outlook crashes. [CVADHELP-29146]
  • You might encounter blue screen errors, like memory access or system service errors. [CVADHELP-29044]
  • FIDO2 authentication works only in browser sessions but fails in Office 365 apps. [CVADHELP-29179]
  • You might experience issues while checking the device’s remaining power from within the session since the battery status indicator is not visible. [CVADHELP-29230]
  • You might see Excel filter dropdowns disappear when resized in seamless mode. [CVADHELP-29798]
  • The watermark time zone might not be synced after setting “Use local time of client” to “Use client time zone.” [CVADHELP-29921]
  • Published Internet Explorer might close immediately at launch. [CVADHELP-30680]
  • You might experience outbound audio drops or beeping due to UDP audio issues. [CVADHELP-30820]
  • With a single monitor, you might see incorrect HDX 3D Pro full-screen warnings when HDX 3D Pro is disabled. [CVADHELP-30880]
  • You might find that USB headsets are identified incorrectly in the session and appear as Citrix HDX Audio. [CVADHELP-30897]
  • You might be unable to login to the machine, after uninstalling the VDA and rebooting it.[CVADHELP-31644]
  • Installing the Citrix VDA on a non-English Windows operating system on non-domain-joined machines can cause the installer to use localized service account names for VDA services. As a result, the CitrixVDACeipService and CitrixTelemetryService services might fail to start.[CVADHELP-31823]

  • You might experience a situation where launching an anonymous session results in unexpected sessions remaining active instead of closing. [CVADHELP-27631]
  • You might encounter a blue screen error with the code PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (0x50) intermittently due to an issue in the picadm.sys module. [CVADHELP-27854]
  • You might experience intermittent Desktop Service re-registrations and reconnect failures. [CVADHELP-28137]
  • On kiosk devices, sessions might not remain maximized between user sessions. [CVADHELP-28327]
  • You might experience a slight delay in reconnecting to a remote application on Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2022 . [CVADHELP-28831]
  • Clipboard redirection stops working after idle state on multi-user desktops. [CVADHELP-29644]
  • After you reconnect with multiple monitors, Windows 11 app windows might become hidden. [CVADHELP-30815]
  • After you reconnect to a session, your saved virtual display layout might not be applied. [CVADHELP-30818]
  • In a dual-monitor setup where a VDA is connected to two monitors with different resolutions and the displays are arranged vertically, the mouse cursor might jump from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor when moved from bottom to top in seamless applications. [CVADHELP-30725]
  • If user logon takes longer than expected, HDX Direct might fail to activate for the session in VDA 2402 LTSR and VDA 2507 LTSR CU2 and later. [CVADHELP-31372]

  • You might experience a situation where the display driver crashes, which can disrupt your desktop session. [CVADHELP-27893]
  • You might experience audio loss if the HDX MediaStream service stops intermittently. [CVADHELP-27984]
  • You might be unable to sign in, and processes might stall, due to issues with the Citrix Audio Redirection service. [CVADHELP-28046]
  • You might find Microsoft Search unresponsive due to audio service issues. [CVADHELP-28098]
  • You might experience a situation where the windowed published apps might not be resized to fullscreen. [CVADHELP-28107]
  • You might encounter blue screen errors from time to time because of a system driver issue. [CVADHELP-27854]
  • FIDO2 does not work for edgewebview2 by default. [CVADHELP-29040]
