Support for Declarative Device Management (DDM) (Technical Preview):
XenMobile Server adds support for Apple’s Declarative Device Management (DDM) in iOS 15 and later. This feature improves performance and scalability by using a declarative data model, reducing reliance on serialized commands and device polling. For more information, see Leveraging the declarative management data model to scale devices.
XenMobile Server has the following two new properties:
ios.mdm.declarative.management: enables iOS Declarative Device Management (DDM).ios.mdm.software.update.settings: enables the Software Update Enforcement device policy.The default value of both properties is False. For more information, see Server properties.
The following declarative device policies are supported when you enable the DDM feature:

Support for carrier network related device information retrieval for iOS devices:
XenMobile Server now supports retrieving additional carrier network related device information for each SIM on iOS devices. You can view these details under Device details > Properties > Slot x SIM information. The newly supported fields include:

- Slot x — current mobile country code (previously listed under Network information)

Install XenMobile Server updates
Important:
Before installing this update, ensure that you have upgraded to XenMobile Server version 10.16.0.48. Also take a snapshot of the current settings and create a backup of the database.
For systems configured in cluster mode, follow these steps to update each node, one after the other:
- Sign in to your account on the Citrix® website and download the XenMobile Server update (.bin) file to an appropriate location.

In the XenMobile Server console of a node, click Settings > Release Management.
The Release Management page shows the currently installed software version and a list of any updates, patches, and upgrades that you uploaded.
- Under Release Management, click Update. The Update dialog box appears.
- Click Browse to upload the update (.bin) file that you downloaded from Citrix downloads page.
- Click Update and then, if prompted, restart the XenMobile Server node using command line.
To verify the patch deployment
After installing this patch, sign in to the XenMobile Server console as an administrator, then navigate to Settings > Release Management > Updates. This page shows details about the most recently installed patch.
