Troubleshooting

Connection to Windows 365 fails

  • Check that the Windows 365 Citrix connector is enabled in Endpoint Manager.
  • Check the credentials provided when trying to connect to Windows 365 have the appropriate permissions.
  • Check that the correct tenant is connected.

VDA is not installed after license assignment

  • Check that the Windows 365 Citrix connector is enabled in Endpoint Manager.
  • Check that the Cloud PC can access VDA download URL.
  • Ensure that enough time has elapsed to allow the VDA installation to complete. This can take up to 60 minutes.

VDA installation fails

  • Review the error details in Endpoint Manager.
  • Review the VDA installation logs in the Cloud PC (C:\windows\temp\Citrix\XenDesktop Installer).
  • Review Event Viewer in the Cloud PC for any details.
  • Ensure that there are no security configurations restricting software installation in the Cloud PC.

VDA is not registered after successful installation

  • Review the HDX Rendezvous V2 requirements and considerations.
  • Review the Application log in the Cloud PC’s Event Viewer and look for Citrix Desktop Service errors and warnings.
