Touchpad gestures for mobile devices
Mobile devices often need to be operated via a touchpad and do not always have hardware mouse buttons.
By default, mouse actions are mapped to the following touchpad gestures:
| Mouse action | Touchpad gesture |
|---|---|
| Click with left mouse button | Tap one finger on the touchpad (single-tap) |
| Right-click (right mouse button) | Tap two fingers on the touchpad (single-tap) |
| Middle-click (wheel button) | Tap three fingers on the touchpad (single-tap) |
| Move cursor | Drag your finger on the touchpad |
| Scroll | Slide two fingers at the same time |
You can change the scroll direction in the touchpad settings. See Keyboard and Mouse.
In Google Chrome, Chromium, and Firefox, you can also zoom a web page with two fingers, as on a laptop. Spread the fingers apart to zoom in. Pinch them together to zoom out. The gesture doesn't zoom pages in the built-in browser.
