System Requirements
System requirements of Citrix VDA for macOS contain both hardware and software aspects. The delivery model is Remote PC Access based on physical Mac devices and the product has been optimized to run exclusively on Apple Silicon (from M1 to M4). The underlying devices must be within the Apple product families listed below to guarantee support and proper operation.
To ensure access to the VDA from different platforms and be managed as other VDA types, both CWA (Citrix Workspace app) and DaaS version requirements have been specified below.

Note :
Intel CPU based Mac devices are not supported.
Supported macOS Versions
Citrix VDA for macOS supports the recent three releases of macOS.

Note:
Citrix might be limited in its ability to test all the sub-versions under one major macOS revision.
Network Requirements
For VDA registration, HTTPS port 443 is open for outbound traffic.
DaaS:

For HDX traffic:
- UDP or TCP port 2598 and 1494 for inbound traffic is open when a session is launched from OnPremises StoreFront internally or from NetScaler gateway externally.
- UDP or TCP port 2598 and 1494 for outbound traffic is open when a session is launched from Citrix Workspace and Citrix Gateway Service over Rendezvous protocol.
- Proxy configurations are supported. The priorities are taken as the following orders:
- Control traffic (VDA enrollment, registration): VDA registry configuration ‑> system proxy setting (from PAC configuration and so on, entries like BYPASS, WPAD,PAC, HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS will be parsed)
- HDX session traffic: DDC policy (Rendezvous proxy configuration policy, DaaS only) ‑> VDA registry configuration ‑> system proxy setting (from PAC configuration and so on)
Note:
Currently we recommend enabling only one NIC (Network Interface Card) in the VDA machine.
